FuelSeal reliably prevents thieves from tapping diesel from your truck. The protective device – Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Genuine Accessories – is installed in the tank filler neck. It doesn't affect the usual refuelling processes.
Better aerodynamics – less weight: four additional round main beam headlamps with efficient LED technology are integrated into the sun visor.

VDO DTCO® 4.1. tachograph
By law, by 18 August 2025, version 1 intelligent tachographs must be replaced by version 2 tachographs in all vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of more than 3.5 t that are used in cross-border traffic. Plan your conversion in good time! With the VDO DTCO® 4.1 tachograph, you will meet the legal requirements – and can also plan even more efficiently, improve work processes and reduce costs.
New features include:
- Recording of driver and vehicle identification as well as recording of border crossings during cabotage trips
- Support in recording loading and unloading processes
- Recording of vehicle position via GNSS module (global navigation satellite system)
- Help with calculations for recording working hours and the new reduced rest periods
- More connectivity with Bluetooth interface for better reading out and control of the tachograph with external devices – such as smartphones
- Display of driving and rest times in the instrument cluster
Stay Connected with Mercedes-Benz Trucks
Global telecommunications providers are phasing out 2G and 3G networks by the end of 2025. This may affect mobile data connectivity in some vehicles.
To stay connected, we recommend upgrading the vehicle computer in certain older models. Switching to 4G LTE ensures you can continue using digital services from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks Connectivity without disruption.
